Interakting storms the NMA Top 100 UK web agency rankings

OXFORD, 25 September 2008 - Interakting™, the Oxfordshire web agency and online marketing consultancy, has been ranked as the UK’s 12th most significant web design and development company by New Media Age (NMA) Magazine in its annual top 100 UK interactive agency survey.

This places the agency alongside the largest and best online agencies in the country and one of the few Top 100 interactive agencies operating in the Thames Valley.

Strong performance by the Kingston Bagpuize-based company has been in part due to a number of new clients, including domestic appliance companies Bosch and Siemens and Oxford investment specialist VenCap International. It also built a multi-lingual portal for Abingdon-based procurement specialist Achilles Group that included the deployment of the easy-to-use EPIServer content management system that allows users to update content themselves without the need for specialist IT help.

The Interakting team attributes its formula for success to strategic thinking, inspiring creative treatments, cutting-edge web technologies, and an experienced, enthusiastic and talented team prepared to go the extra mile.

Alan Bartlett, Interakting’s Head of Client Services said “We are very pleased to be recognised by the industry’s most respected publication. With consumers now spending more time online than watching TV, digital marketing continues to show significant growth.”

He continued: “The current signs are that, in spite of the challenging economic situation, marketing spend across both consumer and B2B sectors is holding steady and there is a continued movement of budgets from offline to online channels. As a visibly more significant player in the UK we are now better positioned to capitalise on these trends.”
