B&D re-brands its UK web agency under global Interakting banner

Former Oxford-based online agency, Domino Systems, will rebrand as Interakting in parent company’s global expansion move.

OXFORD, 21 April 2008 - Business & Decision aka B&D, the Oxford-based online agency, announced today that it is to rebrand as Interakting™, following the recent rebranding of Business & Decision’s continental European online agencies. This will provide a more unified and consistent global presence for the company, aligning it more closely with its international clients and signalling that it plans to be a more aggressive player in the pan-European online marketing sector.

The new branding will allow the agency (which previously operated as Domino Systems prior to its acquisition by B&D in 2005) to re-establish a stronger full service agency persona instead of being defined by a name more closely associated with a global business consultancy and systems integrator.

The UK web agency’s rebranding will also mean that it can leverage its continental European counterparts and with it, a 320 strong team of creative, technical and strategy specialists to enhance its capability to deliver world-class web-based business solutions. This team has more than doubled over the last three years to service the steadily growing client base.

Interakting will build on over a decade of experience and, whilst the agency will have a new name, it will continue to be client focused in every respect, carefully balancing strategy, creativity and technology to deliver rich and rewarding user experiences for its clients’ and their customers.

In addition to its new name, the agency also has a new identity. The Interakting logo emphasises the agency’s e-Business specialism, one of the four core disciplines of the Business & Decision Group. Each of the four squares in the logo represents one of these core disciplines, namely: Business Intelligence; Customer Relationship Management (CRM); Enterprise Solutions (ERP) and e-Business. The UK strapline, “Innovate. Interact. Inspire.”, reveals the Interaktive team’s ethos and approach.

Alan Bartlett, Interakting’s head of client services commented: “Since the acquisition in 2005 by B&D, we have collaborated closely with our colleagues across three continents on a variety of interactive projects but our previous branding and positioning did not fully reflect this international dimension.” He continued, “The objective of the new branding is to develop a more appropriate and recognisable international brand to present us as the global agency that we are.”

The new website for the rebranded agency is now live at: www.interakting.co.uk and the Interakting team will be exhibiting at next week’s Internet World show at Earl’s Court on stand E420.
